Revoke.cash review: understanding token allowances

The short version

Where this tool fits

An allowance-inspection tool to understand when reviewing token spending permissions on supported networks. Revocation cannot retrieve assets already transferred, and disconnecting a site does not automatically revoke an on-chain allowance.

A good fit if…

A fit when you know which address and network you are investigating and want to review documented approvals.

Changing permissions is an on-chain action

What the documentation establishes

Revoke.cash provides allowance inspection and revocation workflows on supported networks. Revoking an on-chain permission is different from disconnecting a site in a wallet. A revocation transaction may require a network fee, and it does not undo an already completed transfer.

Where it fits into your routine

Begin by identifying the permission you intend to investigate. Record the network, token and spender rather than relying on a remembered website name. Reading a permission is a different activity from submitting a transaction to change it. If you do not understand a displayed spender or request, consult the official explanations before taking action, and avoid links sent by someone claiming urgent support access.

The decision before you commit

The tool addresses a particular permission problem; it is not a general recovery service or a substitute for protecting recovery material. A compromised secret requires a different response from an unwanted allowance. Do not assume that connecting a hardware wallet makes every approval acceptable. Treat a request to pay a supposed recovery agent as a separate claim requiring independent investigation.

Before choosing

Verify the official domain, selected network, address and exact permission, then read the current explanation of the requested operation.

Revocation cannot retrieve assets already transferred, and disconnecting a site does not automatically revoke an on-chain allowance.

Transaction Preparation Sheet helps you organise your own notes in this browser. Keep credentials and recovery material out of your project.

Strengths

  • Permission-focused view
  • Network-specific inspection
  • Explanations of allowance behaviour

Limitations

  • Changing permissions is an on-chain action
  • Not a stolen-funds recovery service

Before you choose

  • Verify the official domain, selected network, address and exact permission, then read the current explanation of the requested operation.
  • Review the current official instructions and any plan or service conditions.
